ACTIVE OOSH TECHNOLOGY GUIDELINES

Children who do not have their own device are not allowed to watch or use another child's device *

All use of devices must be in the allocated supervised area, within the allocated timeframes. *

Parents must complete the Technology Agreement before their child can use their own device at Active OOSH. *

Active OOSH is not responsible for any damage or loss of personal devices. *

All games and content must be age appropriate. *

Children are not to take photos or videos of other children, educators or community members on their device. *

TikTok is not permitted while at Active OOSH. *

Educators will confiscate personal devices for the remainder of the session, and behaviour reports may be written, if children are not using their device appropriately. *

Please note, some Vacation Care activities may require children to bring their own device. In this case, it will be a programmed activity, with notice given to parents/carers and permission given via the Vacation Care Authorisation. Therefore, any BYOD activities during Vacation Care do not require the completion of a Technology Agreement.
